Overview

**m28-RNLS** is a monoclonal antibody targeting renalase (RNLS), a secreted flavoprotein implicated in cancer cell survival, tumor progression, and immune cell regulation. By neutralizing RNLS signaling, m28-RNLS reduces tumor growth, induces apoptosis, and triggers cell cycle arrest in tumor cells. Treatment with m28-RNLS results in decreased tumor volume, reduced cellular proliferation (Ki67), increased apoptosis (TUNEL labeling), cell cycle inhibition (p21 upregulation), and suppression of STAT3 phosphorylation and expression. The antibody’s effect is mediated through inhibition of RNLS-STAT3 signaling, induction of apoptosis via p38 MAPK and Bax activation, and reduction of the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. m28-RNLS has demonstrated efficacy in xenograft models of melanoma and pancreatic cancer, with a significant reduction in tumor growth and no observed toxicity[2][3].
