Drug intelligence / Profile preview
M2R003 is an autologous leukocyte cell therapy being developed by M2R Lab for the treatment of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). The therapy utilizes the company's proprietary M2R technology to modify a patient's own leukocytes, isolated from peripheral blood, into an anti-inflammatory and pro-regenerative phenotype. This modification process is completed in under four hours and does not involve genetic manipulation, ex vivo expansion, or the addition of exogenous growth factors. M2R003 is designed to promote the expression of trophic factors that regulate pulmonary inflammation and stimulate the proliferation and differentiation of endogenous stem cells to facilitate tissue repair in the lungs. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
