Drug intelligence / Profile preview
M2RLAB 001 is an autologous cell therapy developed by M2R Lab for the treatment of acute kidney injury (AKI), particularly in patients undergoing cardiac surgery. The therapy consists of the patient's own leukocytes that have been isolated and modified using M2R's proprietary technology to adopt an anti-inflammatory and pro-regenerative phenotype. By reintroducing these modified cells into the patient, the treatment aims to modulate the immune response at the site of injury, reduce inflammation, and accelerate the recovery of renal function. M2RLAB 001 is currently being evaluated in clinical trials to assess its safety and efficacy in reducing the time to kidney function recovery post-surgery.
