Overview

M366 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Amgen that targets human Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor Kappa-B Ligand (RANKL). RANKL is crucial for mammary gland development and plays a role in the expansion and regenerative potential of mammary stem cells. Pharmacologic inhibition of RANKL has been shown to attenuate the development of mammary carcinoma and inhibit metastatic progression in various mouse models. M366 was utilized in a study to investigate the correlation of RANK and RANKL expression with pathological complete response, disease-free, and overall survival in primary breast carcinoma samples, providing a basis for further exploration of its antitumor activity.
