Overview

MA34 is a biosimilar monoclonal antibody developed by Momenta Pharmaceuticals in collaboration with Baxter. It was intended for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The drug acts as a tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) inhibitor. Its development was discontinued in Phase 1 for autoimmune disorders and inflammation in 2019.
