MAb-3F8 is a designation used for at least two distinct monoclonal antibodies. One instance of MAb-3F8 is an investigational therapeutic monoclonal antibody that was studied in a clinical trial for primary refractory neuroblastoma, where it was administered in combination with Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF). The clinical trial for this indication was terminated. Another instance of mAb-3F8 is an IgM monoclonal antibody developed for diagnostic purposes, specifically for the detection of *Listeria* species. This diagnostic antibody targets Fructose 1,6-Bisphosphate Aldolase (FBA), a novel immunogenic surface protein found on *Listeria* cells, enabling differentiation of *Listeria* from closely related bacteria and distinguishing pathogenic from non-pathogenic strains.
