Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MAG-1 is a mouse monoclonal antibody designed to target a C-terminal moiety on pro-vasopressin, a cell surface marker universally expressed by human small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) cells. In preclinical studies, MAG-1 has demonstrated the ability to attach to and internalize into SCLC cell lines. In vivo, treatment with MAG-1, including a (90)Yttrium-labeled form, significantly reduced tumor growth rates in SCLC xenografts by inducing extensive apoptosis. The development of a humanized version of MAG-1 is envisioned for future targeted therapy in patients with recurrent SCLC.
