MAGE-10.A2 peptide vaccine is a synthetic peptide-based cancer vaccine developed by Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc (Université Catholique de Louvain) in Brussels, Belgium. It consists of a synthetic HLA-A2-restricted peptide derived from the Melanoma-Associated Antigen 10 (MAGE-10) cancer-testis antigen. The vaccine is designed to stimulate CD8+ cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) anti-tumor immunity by targeting the MAGE-10 antigen presented via HLA-A2 MHC class I molecules. In clinical trials, such as the Phase 2 trial NCT00365937, it has been evaluated as part of a multipeptide vaccine mix (alongside other melanoma-associated peptides like MAGE-1.A2, MAGE-3.A2, MAGE-4.A2, MAGE-C2.A2, NA17.A2, Tyrosinase.A2, and NY-ESO-1.A2) administered with adjuvants like Montanide ISA 51, IMP321, or CpG 7909 for the treatment of disease-free, HLA-A2-positive cutaneous melanoma patients at high risk of relapse.
