MAGE-12 peptide vaccine is a synthetic therapeutic cancer vaccine designed to stimulate the immune system to target tumor cells expressing the melanoma-associated antigen gene family member A12 (MAGEA12). The vaccine contains a shared tumor antigen epitope recognized by tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs), and its administration aims to induce a TIL response against MAGE-12-expressing tumors, potentially resulting in decreased tumor growth. It has been developed primarily for use in patients with cancers that express the MAGE-12 antigen, including various solid tumors. The National Cancer Institute is the originator and primary developer of this investigational agent[1][2].
