Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MAGE-A10 A*02:01 TCR-T is an autologous T-cell receptor engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy being developed by Anocca AB. The therapy consists of patient-derived T cells that are engineered using proprietary non-viral gene editing technology to express a T-cell receptor specific for the MAGE-A10 peptide presented on the HLA-A*02:01 major histocompatibility complex. MAGE-A10 is a cancer-testis antigen that is highly expressed in several solid tumors, including melanoma, lung cancer, and bladder cancer, but has restricted expression in normal tissues, making it a suitable target for immunotherapy. The mechanism of action involves the recognition and subsequent lysis of tumor cells expressing the MAGE-A10/HLA-A*02:01 complex by the engineered T cells. The product is manufactured at Anocca's in-house cGMP facility and is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
