MAGE-A4 A*24 TCR-T is an autologous T-cell receptor (TCR) engineered T-cell therapy developed by Anocca. It is designed to target the Melanoma-Associated Antigen A4 (MAGE-A4) protein, specifically when presented as a peptide fragment by the Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) allele A*24 (HLA-A*24). MAGE-A4 is a cancer-testis antigen frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors but absent in normal adult tissues (except germ cells), making it a highly specific target for immunotherapy. The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a high-affinity TCR specific to the MAGE-A4/HLA-A*24 complex, enabling the T cells to recognize and eliminate tumor cells. It is currently being investigated for the treatment of a wide range of cancers.
