A recombinant protein **cancer vaccine** composed of **MAGE1**, **MAGE3** (Melanoma-associated antigens), and **Mycobacterium tuberculosis heat shock protein 70 (TBHSP70)**, designed to induce antitumor immune responses. **MAGE1** and **MAGE3** are cancer-testis antigens, commonly expressed in various tumor types but not in normal tissues except testes and placenta. **TBHSP70** serves as an immunological adjuvant to enhance antigen presentation and T-cell priming. The vaccine is intended for active immunotherapy against MAGE-expressing tumors by inducing strong MAGE1- and MAGE3-specific cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) responses and antibody production, leading to tumor cell destruction. Studies in mice demonstrated that this vaccine elicits robust antigen-specific cellular and humoral immune responses, delays tumor growth, and prolongs survival in tumor challenge models[1][2].
