Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MAGEA1-specific TCR is a T-cell receptor engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy developed by Biocytogen using its proprietary RenTCR platform. The therapy targets MAGEA1 (Melanoma-associated antigen A1), a cancer-testis antigen that is broadly expressed in various solid tumors, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), but has restricted expression in normal tissues. These TCRs are discovered using HLA-A*02:01 humanized mice, which allows for the identification of receptors with high reactivity and specificity by bypassing human thymic negative selection. Preclinical data indicates that these TCRs exhibit superior peptide sensitivity and potent antitumor activity in both in vitro assays and in vivo CDX models.
