Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Magni-Phi is a phytogenic feed additive developed by Phibro Animal Health Corporation, specifically designed for use in poultry production. It consists of a proprietary, natural blend of triterpenoid saponins derived from the *Quillaja saponaria* (soapbark tree) and *Yucca schidigera* plants. The formulation also contains active components such as polyphenols, resveratrol, and yuccaols. Magni-Phi functions by modulating the immune system and supporting intestinal health, serving as a natural alternative to antibiotic growth promoters. It has demonstrated efficacy in enhancing the bird's defense against pathogens, including those responsible for coccidiosis and necrotic enteritis caused by *Clostridium perfringens*. The product is available in a standard formulation and a more concentrated version, Magni-Phi Ultra, and is approved for use in organic poultry production.
