Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MaiLi Volume is a hyaluronic acid (HA)-based dermal filler developed by Sinclair Pharmaceuticals for facial volumisation and the correction of facial volume loss. It is part of the MaiLi portfolio, which utilizes proprietary OxiFree™ technology to crosslink HA with 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE) while preserving long molecular chains, resulting in a supple, spring-like gel. The formulation includes lidocaine to enhance patient comfort during injection. MaiLi Volume is specifically indicated for deep dermal or subdermal fat pad injection to treat areas such as the temples, midface, jawline, and chin, as well as for volume loss associated with HIV-associated lipoatrophy. It functions by integrating into the extracellular matrix and binding water to restore lost facial volume.
