Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Majiazi (Majiazi Capsule) is an investigational botanical drug candidate developed by Chengdu Majiazi Biotechnology for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It is derived from the plant *Paliurus hemsleyanus*, which has a history of use in traditional medicine. The drug is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1, open-label, single-arm clinical trial in China (CTR20241028) to assess its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in patients with advanced solid tumors who have failed or are intolerant to standard therapies. Preliminary research into *Paliurus hemsleyanus* extracts suggests potential anti-tumor activity through the induction of apoptosis and inhibition of cancer cell proliferation.
