Overview
MANCR GapmeR is a preclinical antisense oligonucleotide (specifically a GapmeR) designed to target and knock down mitotically-associated long noncoding RNA (MANCR, also known as LINC00704). MANCR is an epigenetic regulator that is upregulated in aggressive breast cancers, particularly triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), and is associated with poor patient survival. By targeting MANCR, the GapmeR disrupts genomic stability, promotes DNA damage, and inhibits cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and tumor growth in TNBC models.
