Manpixiao Granules

Manpixiao Granules (慢痞消颗粒) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed by the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Feng Huang Tian Dan (Beijing) Technology, and Shandong Phoenix Pharmaceutical. It is formulated based on the clinical experience of TCM master Lu Zhizheng, consisting of 12 herbal ingredients: Pseudostellaria heterophylla (太子参), Salvia miltiorrhiza (丹参), Polygonatum odoratum (玉竹), Perilla frutescens stem (紫苏梗), raw Atractylodes macrocephala (生白术), Corydalis yanhusuo (延胡索), Mume Fructus (乌梅), Citri Fructus (香橼), Rosae Rugosae Flos (玫瑰花), Amomi Fructus (砂仁), Hedyotis diffusa (白花蛇舌草), and honey-fried Glycyrrhiza uralensis (炙甘草). Manpixiao Granules is designed to regulate qi, nourish yin, promote blood circulation, and resolve toxicity. It is primarily developed for the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) and gastric precancerous lesions (PLGC), specifically targeting patients presenting with the TCM syndrome pattern of qi-yin deficiency with gastric collateral blood stasis. In September 2026, a Phase II randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial (CTR20263400) was registered in China to evaluate its efficacy and safety in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis.
