Marbofloxacin is approved for use in dogs and cats for the treatment of infections associated with susceptible bacteria, particularly those affecting the skin, soft tissue, urinary tract (bladder and kidneys), and prostate. It may also be used off-label in other species such as birds, rabbits, reptiles, and for conditions like leishmaniasis or hemoplasmosis[1][2][5].
