Maren Soft Capsules (麻仁软胶囊) is an approved Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) developed and manufactured by Tianjin Central Pharmaceutical. It is formulated as an oral softgel capsule containing a mixture of herbal ingredients, including hemp seed (Cannabis semen / 火麻仁), bitter almond (Armeniacae semen amarum / 苦杏仁), rhubarb (Rhei radix et rhizoma / 大黄), stir-fried citrus fruit (Aurantii fructus immaturus / 枳实), ginger-processed magnolia bark (Magnoliae officinalis cortex / 厚朴), and stir-fried white peony root (Paeoniae radix alba / 白芍). Maren Soft Capsules are primarily indicated for moistening the intestines and promoting bowel movements to relieve constipation, particularly constipation caused by dryness in the intestines or habitual constipation.
