Mavrilimumab + methotrexate is a combination therapy used in clinical studies for autoimmune diseases, primarily rheumatoid arthritis. Mavrilimumab is a human monoclonal antibody that acts as a competitive antagonist of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor receptor alpha (GM-CSFRα), blocking GM-CSF signaling and thereby reducing inflammatory pathways that drive autoimmune disease[5][6].
