MAX-10141

MAX-10141 is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1), developed by Maxinovel. Unlike traditional monoclonal antibodies that target the PD-1/PD-L1 axis via intravenous infusion, MAX-10141 is designed for oral administration, potentially offering improved patient convenience and different pharmacokinetic properties. It works by binding to PD-L1, thereby preventing its interaction with the PD-1 receptor on T-cells, which restores the immune system's ability to recognize and attack tumor cells. The drug is currently being investigated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of various solid tumors.
