MAX-10181

MAX-10181 is an orally active small molecule inhibitor of the programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1), developed by Maxinovel Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of cancer. It blocks the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptor PD‑1, thereby suppressing immune checkpoint signaling and enhancing T-cell mediated anti-tumor activity. The drug is designed to penetrate the blood-brain barrier and has demonstrated tumor growth inhibition comparable to durvalumab in preclinical models. Clinical development includes phase II trials for various solid tumors, including liver cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, stomach cancer, and advanced malignant solid neoplasms in China; it has also been studied in Australia.
