Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MaxCAR is a proprietary CAR-T cell therapy platform developed by ARCE Therapeutics, designed to address the limitations of current cellular immunotherapies in treating solid tumors and preventing relapse in hematological cancers. The platform focuses on three key areas: enhancing the potency and persistence of CAR-T cells, mitigating the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME), and reversing T-cell exhaustion. By coordinating multiple immune cells for a synchronized attack, MaxCAR aims to provide durable clinical responses. The lead candidate developed using this platform is ARCE-003, a GPC3-targeted CAR-T therapy currently in IND-enabling studies for hepatocellular carcinoma.
