MaxioCel is an advanced wound care dressing composed of 100% chitosan fibers, developed by Axio Biosolutions. It is designed for the management of chronic and acute wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and venous leg ulcers. The dressing utilizes Bioactive Microfiber Gelling (BMG) technology, which allows it to absorb high amounts of wound exudate while transforming into a cohesive gel that maintains a moist healing environment.
