Overview

Mazorelvimab is a humanized IgG1κ monoclonal antibody that targets the rabies virus glycoprotein (RABV-G), binding to highly discontinuous, conserved residues outside of antigenic site III. It is used as part of a 1:1 mixture with zamerovimab (CTB011) in the product known as SYN-023 or 克瑞毕, designed for post-exposure prophylaxis against rabies virus infection. The combination therapy leverages two antibodies with non-overlapping epitopes to broaden neutralization coverage against global rabies strains. Mazorelvimab and its combination have demonstrated good efficacy and safety in clinical trials, including use in patients with grade III rabies exposure[1][4][5][8].
