Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MB-105 is a code name associated with two distinct chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy programs. The first is an autologous CAR-T therapy developed by March Biosciences (a spin-out from the Center for Cell and Gene Therapy) that targets the CD5 antigen; it is currently in Phase 2 clinical development for the treatment of relapsed and refractory CD5-positive T-cell lymphoma. The second MB-105 was a PSCA-directed CAR-T therapy originally developed by Mustang Bio in collaboration with City of Hope National Medical Center and the University of California. This program targeted the prostate stem cell antigen (PSCA) for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), pancreatic cancer, and other solid tumors, but development was terminated by Mustang Bio in 2023 following a strategic portfolio reallocation.
