Overview

MB-301 refers to at least three distinct investigational agents, each developed by a different company and for different purposes: 1. **March Biosciences' MB-301** is a chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy in preclinical development for hematologic neoplasms and other hemic and lymphatic diseases. It is being developed by March Biosciences[2]. 2. **MediBeacon's MB-301** is 3,6-diaminopyrazine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid, a small molecule fluorescent agent with absorption/emission maxima at 405/540 nm. It has been studied as a renal function marker due to its excretion profile in animal models[5][3]. 3. **MBS301 (sometimes referred to as MB301)** is an afucosylated bispecific anti-HER2 antibody engineered from trastuzumab and pertuzumab half-antibodies, designed for enhanced anti-tumor activity against HER2-positive cancers via simultaneous binding of two HER2 domains and increased FcγRIIIa affinity[1]. However, the canonical code name appears to be MBS301 rather than MB-301.
