Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MB-6 + FOLFOX4 is a combination therapeutic regimen investigated for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). It consists of MB-6, a multi-component botanical preparation, administered alongside the standard FOLFOX4 chemotherapy regimen, which includes oxaliplatin, 5-fluorouracil, and leucovorin. MB-6 is composed of fermented soybean extract, green tea extract, *Antrodia camphorata* mycelia, spirulina, grape seed extract, and curcumin extract. The combination is designed to enhance the anti-tumor efficacy of chemotherapy while potentially reducing adverse effects such as chemotherapy-induced neutropenia. It has been evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials to assess its impact on disease progression and patient survival in mCRC patients receiving standard-of-care oxaliplatin-based regimens.
