Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MB-AD-101 is an experimental intracellular immunotherapeutic nanobody being developed by Mercury Bio (Mercury Holdings) for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. The drug is designed to utilize a proprietary delivery platform that enables it to cross the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and enter neurons. Once inside the cell, the nanobody is intended to bind to and modulate intracellular pathogenic proteins that are implicated in the progression of Alzheimer's disease. As of early 2024, the program is in the early preclinical stage of development.
