Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MB-CART-19 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed for hematological malignancies, especially relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma and other B-cell malignancies. It utilizes a lentiviral vector to transduce patient-derived T-cells with a CAR targeting CD19, containing 4-1BB and CD3ζ signaling domains. This product is manufactured using the CliniMACS Prodigy device and is notable for its short vein-to-vein (apheresis to infusion) time, enabling timely treatment for patients with aggressive disease. Clinical studies have found its safety profile comparable to other CAR T-cell therapies, with adverse events consistent with this drug class[5].
