Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MB-PD-102 is an experimental intracellular immunotherapeutic being developed by Mercury Bio (Mercury Holdings) for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. It utilizes a nanobody modality designed to be delivered across the blood-brain barrier and into neurons. Once inside the cell, the nanobody is intended to modulate specific intracellular pathogenic proteins associated with the progression of Parkinson's disease. The drug is currently in the preclinical stage of development and is part of a pipeline focused on delivering large molecule therapeutics into the cytoplasm of target cells using a proprietary delivery system.
