Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MB007 is an innovative, recombinant, cell-derived extracellular matrix (ECM) collagen product developed by Maybio (Meibo Biotech). It is produced via in vitro expression in engineered cells derived from chemically induced pluripotent stem cell (CiPSC) lines, followed by extraction and purification. The resulting ECM collagen features a full-length sequence identical to human collagen, retaining complete tertiary and quaternary structures to provide natural mechanical support and stimulate tissue regeneration with low immunogenicity. MB007 is formulated as an injectable gel and is currently in Phase III clinical development in China for the treatment of microgenia (chin retrusion / mandibular retrusion). In September 2026, Huadong Medicine's wholly-owned subsidiary, Sinclair Aesthetics (Xinkeli Aesthetics), secured exclusive strategic commercialization rights for MB007 in the Chinese market.
