Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MBD2 siRNA is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) designed to target and silence the expression of methyl-CpG-binding domain protein 2 (MBD2). MBD2 is an epigenetic reader that binds to methylated DNA and mediates transcriptional repression. In preclinical studies, MBD2 siRNA has been investigated for its potential to reverse age-related metabolic disorders by restoring beige adipocyte differentiation, as well as for treating allergic airway inflammation (asthma) and suppressing tumor metastasis.
