Overview

**MBP134** is a cocktail of two pan-ebolavirus human monoclonal antibodies, ADI-15878 and ADI-23774, developed by Mapp Biopharmaceutical for treating ebolavirus infections. These non-competing antibodies target highly conserved, non-overlapping epitopes on the ebolavirus glycoprotein (GP), directly inhibiting GP-mediated membrane fusion across all known ebolavirus species including Zaire (EBOV), Sudan (SUDV), and Bundibugyo (BDBV) viruses. In nonhuman primate models, a single intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) dose as low as 7.5 mg/kg administered up to 5 days post-exposure reverses disease progression, clears infectious virus, and provides complete protection against lethal SUDV and significant protection against EBOV, outperforming narrower-spectrum therapies. MBP134 has completed Phase 1 trials, was deployed during the 2022 SUDV outbreak in Uganda, and features an afucosylated variant (MBP134AF) enhancing antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).[1][2][4][5][6]
