Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MBTC-ALS-EVs is an extracellular vesicle (EV)-based therapeutic candidate being developed by Stemmedicare for the treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. The drug leverages Stemmedicare's proprietary immune-tolerized EV platform to deliver therapeutic biological factors. While specific molecular targets have not been publicly disclosed, the therapy is designed to utilize the neuroprotective and regenerative potential of stem cell-derived EVs to slow or halt the progression of neurodegeneration in ALS patients. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development, specifically undergoing efficacy verification.
