Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MBTC-MI-EVs is an extracellular vesicle (EV)-based therapeutic candidate being developed by Stemmedicare for the treatment of heart failure and myocardial infarction. The drug utilizes Stemmedicare's proprietary immune-tolerized EV platform to facilitate cardiac repair and regeneration. By leveraging the natural signaling and cargo-delivery capabilities of EVs, the therapy aims to mitigate damage to cardiac tissue following an ischemic event and improve overall heart function. As of early 2024, the program is in the preclinical candidate stage of development.
