Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MBTC-MSC-EX0 is an extracellular vesicle (EV)-based therapeutic developed by Stemmedicare for the topical treatment of atopic dermatitis. The drug candidate is derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) using Stemmedicare's proprietary non-immunogenic and immune-tolerized EV technology. This platform is designed to produce EVs that can modulate immune responses and promote tissue regeneration without triggering an adverse immune reaction. MBTC-MSC-EX0 is specifically formulated for topical administration to address skin inflammation and barrier dysfunction associated with atopic dermatitis. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
