Overview
MBX 6180 is a preclinical-stage, long-acting peptide prodrug being developed by MBX Biosciences for the treatment of obesity. The drug is designed to optimize pharmacokinetics and provide a sustained-release profile that supports once-monthly subcutaneous dosing, potentially offering improved efficacy, tolerability, and dosing convenience compared to existing obesity therapies. IND-enabling studies for MBX 6180 are currently underway.
