Overview

MCARH109 is a G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (GPRC5D)-targeted chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. It is used for treating relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. The therapy involves autologous T lymphocytes transduced with a retroviral vector expressing a CAR. It works by inducing immunologic cytotoxicity and replacing T lymphocytes.
