Overview

The MCBC regimen is a modified dual alkylator-conditioning regimen employed in the pretreatment of refractory or relapsed Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) patients undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). This regimen combines the chemotherapeutic agents Melphalan, Cladribine, Busulfan, and Cyclophosphamide. Its primary objective is to effectively eradicate leukemia blasts and mitigate the risk of early relapse, demonstrating significant anti-leukemia activity with manageable toxicity.
