Overview
**MCM vaccine** is an investigational, preclinical tumor-mRNA cancer vaccine developed at the University of Florida for glioblastoma and glioma. It consists of total tumor-derived mRNA organized in an \"onion-like\" microgel-chemokine-mRNA complex and administered subcutaneously. In a murine intracranial glioma model, the formulation promoted intratumoral immune activation, including dendritic-cell and natural-killer-cell recruitment, T-cell activation and infiltration, and pro-inflammatory M1-like microglial reprogramming. Its antitumor activity was associated with tumor CCL4 upregulation and signaling through the CCL4-CCR5 axis; CCL4 blockade eliminated the observed survival benefit.
