MCS2102 is an investigational small molecule antagonist of the **C-C chemokine receptor type 2 (CCR2)** and **C-C chemokine receptor type 5 (CCR5)**. Developed by **Novartis**, the compound is designed to inhibit the recruitment and activation of monocytes and macrophages, which play a central role in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory and fibrotic diseases. By blocking the CCR2/5 pathways, MCS2102 aims to reduce tissue inflammation and subsequent fibrotic remodeling.
