Overview

**MCT-465** is a high molecular weight synthetic double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) therapeutic (polyA:polyU, ~70 base pairs) developed by MultiCell Technologies as a potent immune enhancer. It stimulates innate and adaptive immune responses, including expansion of cytokine-producing T-cells (e.g., IFNγ and IL-2), leading to anti-viral and anti-tumoral effects in preclinical models. MCT-465 demonstrated 1,000-fold reduction in pulmonary virus titers in H1N1-infected mice, suggesting potential against related strains like H5N1 avian flu, and enhanced tumor eradication when combined with antigen-presenting therapies like MCT-475 in cancer models including liver and colorectal cancers.[1][2][3][7]
