It is designed for the treatment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), chronic kidney disease (CKD), and coronary artery disease (CHD). MDH-112 utilizes MD Healthcare's proprietary MD ICON and MD Nano Drone platforms to isolate and manufacture therapeutic extracellular vesicles derived from beneficial microbes. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, with Phase 2 trials planned for late 2027.
