MDM01

MDM01 is a preclinical-stage microbiome-based therapeutic candidate being developed by Shenzhen Xbiome Biotech for the treatment of solid tumors. Unlike live biotherapeutic products (LBPs) that utilize formulated bacteria, MDM01 belongs to a class of therapies consisting of isolated microbe-derived molecules (MDMs). These molecules are identified and developed using Xbiome's proprietary AI-based bioinformatics platform to exert specific anti-tumor or immune-modulatory effects within the tumor microenvironment. The drug is intended to leverage microbial metabolites or components to enhance the host's immune response against neoplasms or directly inhibit tumor progression. It is currently undergoing preclinical evaluation to establish its safety and efficacy profile for future clinical development.
