Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ME-12 OD is an oral, extended-release multivitamin combination tablet developed by Systopic Laboratories. It contains methylcobalamin (1500 mcg), pyridoxine hydrochloride (20 mg), and folic acid (5 mg). This combination is primarily indicated for the treatment and management of nutritional deficiencies, peripheral neuropathy (including diabetic neuropathy), megaloblastic anemia, and hyperhomocysteinemia. Methylcobalamin supports nerve regeneration and myelin sheath synthesis, pyridoxine hydrochloride enhances neurotransmitter synthesis and amino acid metabolism, and folic acid is essential for DNA synthesis and red blood cell maturation. Together, these neurotropic B-vitamins work synergistically to restore nerve health, reduce neuropathic pain, and support overall cellular metabolism.
