Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ME-D3 is an oral fixed-dose combination multivitamin and antioxidant supplement developed and marketed by Systopic Laboratories. It is primarily indicated for the management of diabetic neuropathy, peripheral neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, and general nutritional deficiencies. The formulation contains five active ingredients: methylcobalamin (an active form of vitamin B12 that supports myelin sheath formation and nerve regeneration), alpha-lipoic acid (a potent antioxidant that reduces oxidative stress and improves microvascular blood flow to nerves), pyridoxine (vitamin B6, essential for neurotransmitter synthesis and amino acid metabolism), folic acid (vitamin B9, which aids in red blood cell production and DNA synthesis), and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3, which regulates calcium homeostasis and supports neuronal health). Together, these components work synergistically to nourish and repair damaged nerve fibers, alleviate neuropathic pain symptoms such as tingling and numbness, and correct underlying vitamin deficiencies.
