Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MeAxon Gold is an injectable multivitamin combination therapy developed by Bion Therapeutics. It contains mecobalamin (vitamin B12), folic acid (vitamin B9), and niacinamide (vitamin B3). MeAxon Gold is primarily indicated for the treatment and prevention of nutritional deficiencies, severe vitamin deficiencies, certain types of anemia (such as megaloblastic anemia), and nerve-related disorders (such as peripheral neuropathy). Mecobalamin supports nerve health by promoting myelin formation and nerve repair, while folic acid is essential for DNA synthesis and red blood cell maturation. Niacinamide contributes to cellular energy metabolism and skin health. The drug is administered via intramuscular or intravenous injection.
