Overview
This combination therapy is a neoadjuvant regimen being investigated for the treatment of resectable locally advanced gastric adenocarcinoma and gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma. The regimen consists of **mecapegfilgrastim**, a long-acting pegylated recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) analog used to prevent chemotherapy-induced neutropenia; **adebrelimab**, a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) to enhance anti-tumor immune responses; and the **FLOT** chemotherapy regimen, which includes **docetaxel**, **oxaliplatin**, **5-fluorouracil**, and **leucovorin**. This multi-modal approach combines cytotoxic chemotherapy with immune checkpoint inhibition and myeloid support to improve pathological complete response rates and surgical outcomes in patients with resectable gastric and gastroesophageal junction cancers.
